Troutville Baptist Church
Whether you are six, sixteen, twenty-six or sixty, there's a lot for you at Troutville Baptist Church. Sunday School Classes are broken down into age groups: 18-35 Lucy and Ed Miller Teachers, 36-69 Sandra Jones and Ron Hoover Teachers, 70 & up Linda Byer and Jan Roops Teachers. Hikers are always welcome to join us. We are Handicap accessible, via the back door. We have monitored security cameras during service and all doors except front door will be locked at 11:10 for our safety.
Interested in more Bible Study beyond Sunday School? Adults meet each Wednesday night at 6:15pm. Youth have Bible Study on Wednesday nights as well. We also have a Dinner provided by Rita Goodbar at 5:30 pm, cost $7.00 per person. So, you are full for Bible Study.
What is there for kids? Sunday School for ages 3 and up starts at 9:45 am each Sunday morning. There's a children's church for small children during the morning worship service as well and each Wednesday night (during adult bible study) there are children's programs.
Younger youth have an active program that includes study, fellowship, music. Our young adult youths have grown and moved on; we are now looking to rebuild. Please come help us grow again and continue teaching God’s word to our Youth.
Like to Sing? We have an adult choir that sings a wide variety of music, a praise team focused on contemporary Christian music. You can get more details about our music ministry on our news/article webpage. We also have a Bell Choir as well as Chimes, so if you enjoy making music come join us.
You will find a little something for everyone: There are special dinners, picnics, trips, special music, guest speakers and more.
Hikers are always welcome to come worship with us. We also a Dinner for Hikers.
Are you missions oriented? Check out our Women on Missions group or take part in a number of special mission projects throughout the year. Back to School backpacks, School Supplies, Easter Egg Hunts, all held next to the Church in Troutville Park. We also have a community Food Pantry this takes place on the third Saturday of every month. You will get a box of food, eggs, milk, bread, meat to help provide for your family in these rough times.
Like being social? Men can take part in occasional prayer breakfasts. Women have a monthly "lunch bunch" fellowship at various restaurants on the second Monday of every month. This month we will meet at Bella Pizza Italian Restaurant @ 11:30.
